PENGEMBANGAN POJOK BACA DESA JUNGKARE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN LITERASI BACA TULIS DAN SAINS PADA ANAK

The purpose of this service is to improve children's reading literacy, writing literacy, and science literacy skills through the development of a reading corner. The object of service is the children of Jungkare village, Karanganom sub-district, Klaten district. Reading literacy and writing literacy activities are wall magazine making while science literacy is in the form of simple rotary ice cream making activities. The service methods used are presentation, discussion, and practice. The activity stages consisted of socialization of the implementation and project exhibition. The results showed that the children of Jungkare village were very enthusiastic in participating in reading literacy, writing literacy, and science literacy activities.

PELATIHAN KONSEP TRI NGA KI HAJAR DEWANTARA BAGI GURU DI SDNU PEMANAHAN

The purpose of writing this article is to provide training to teachers, especially at SDNU Sleman, regarding the concept of Tri Nga Ki Hajar Dewantara. The concept of "Ngerti, Ngrasa, Nglakoni" as a comprehensive learning, includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The learning process is not only about understanding and feeling, but also about implementing these values in daily actions and behaviors. The application of the Tri Nga concept will create an active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Active learning means that students are actively involved in class. Students have the ability and are accustomed to being involved and expressing their opinions. Enjoyable learning means that students feel happy during the learning process and can enjoy every learning process carried out so that the material learned can be more embedded in students' memories. It is hoped that after this socialization is carried out, teachers can create more enjoyable learning, so that learning becomes meaningful.

PENDAMPINGAN KEPADA MAHASISWA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LITERASI FINANSIAL

Pembelajaran literasi finansial bagi mahasiswa di Indonesia relatif belum banyak dilakukan karena dianggap berbagai pihak belum penting dan belum dibutuhkan. Tujuan khusus dicapai selama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berkolaborasi dengan CIMB Bank Niaga yaitu mampu melaksanakan praktik pendampingan pembelajaran literasi finansial. Desain pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa action empowerment pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman yang diharapkan menjadi pijakan analisiskebutuhan dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran literasi finansial secara lebih luas bagi mahasiswa Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten. Tahap akhir kegiatan terbentuk perangkat pembelajaran literasi finansial berbasis pengalaman yang teruji sahih dan andal bagi mahasiswa Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten. Muara kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tercipta rasa percaya (trust) dan cerdas finansial sejak dini mahasiswa terhadap lembaga keuangan di masa mendatang. Luaran kegiatan dilakukan diseminasi hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat di forum nasional.

PENDAMPINGAN TEKNIS KELOMPOK TANI MARGO RUKUN DALAM PERANCANGAN JARINGAN IRIGASI AIR TANAH DALAM

Padukuhan Suru Lor is a part of Kalurahan Hargomulyo, which is located in the Kapanewon Gedangsari, Gunungkidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Kalurahan Hargomulyo serves as the administrative center of Kapanewon Gedangsari. The main livelihood of the residents of Padukuhan Suru Lor is farming, and in addition, they are also livestock farmers. The farming in Padukuhan Suru Lor is rain-fed agriculture, which is only effective and productive during the First Rainy Season (MH1). With these conditions, it present a challenge for farmers and agricultural infrastructure observers to provide water for irrigation, especially to overcome the water scarcity problem during the Second Rainy Season (MH2). The expected outcomes after the implementation of this Community Service program are the availability of a technical concept for the deep groundwater irrigation system network, and the construction of a deep groundwater well as a source of water for irrigation in the Deep Groundwater Irrigation System (DGIS) in Padukuhan Suru Lor.

PELATIHAN BIPA BAGI MAHASISWA ASING DALAM MEMBACA TEKS PROSEDUR BERTEMA KULINER PEKALONGAN

Cultured-based BIPA training with a Pekalongan culinary theme aimed to introduce and preserve local culture while teaching foreign students (Nigerian, Thai, and Cambodian) how to read Indonesian procedure text that focused on Pekalongan culinary. This activity combines learning Indonesian language and culture through culinary delights, as an interesting means to understand the social aspects of Indonesian society. This community service used a blended learning method, combining offline and online learning to improve foreign students’ understanding in reading procedure text and identifying information related to Pekalongan culinary delights. Activities begin with preparation of materials and equipment, followed by implementation through online sessions and offline cultural visits. In online sessions, students learn the basics of Indonesian, vocabulary and sentence structures used in procedure text, as well the process of making typical Pekalongan culinary delights such as Tauto. Offline activities include visits to Pekalongan cultural places, such as the Unikal Batik Gallery, Batik Museum, Limun Oriental, Garang Asem Masduki, and Po An Thien Temple. This activity lasted for one month and ended with evaluation and feedback from presenters. The results of this training show that the blended learning approach is efefctive in facilitating foreign students’ understnading of procedure text and introducing Pekalongan culinary and culture as a whole.

The Community Service Activity entitled "Assistance in the Management of Youtube Channels for Branding KB and TK Tiara Nusa Klaten aims to provide information, as a means of communication and documentation as well as to build school branding because in the ever-evolving landscape of social media platforms, YouTube stands out as a dynamic force that continues to expand its reach globally. The methods used in this activity are observation, communication, training, and assistance in creating digital content and YouTube accounts. MENUMBUHKAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG DAGUSIBU OBAT ANTIBIOTIK DAN TETES MATA DI DAERAH LIMBANGAN SUMBERAHAYU

Knowledge about medicine must be possessed by all levels of society. The widespread distribution of counterfeit medicines and errors in using DAGUSIBU medicines have become one of the efforts to increase public knowledge in using and managing medicines. This community service aims to provide DAGUSIBU education to the community, especially women from the Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Krajan Village, to increase community knowledge about the correct (rational) use of medicines and procedures for storing and disposing of medicines that have been damaged or expired correctly. The method used in this service is to increase knowledge about the Use of Storing and Disposing of Medicines (DAGUSIBU). With this outreach, it is hoped that knowledge of drug use will be increased. Participants in this extension were given material about DAGUSIBU directly and supported with props in the form of medicine as an example of the application of DAGUSIBU in active discussions. The output of this service shows an increase in the knowledge of counseling participants about drugs through DAGUSIBU. Therefore, this outreach needs to be continued to monitor and improve cadres as good information agents to the general public, especially in Krajan Village.
